Thank you!!

Looking at the stats, I can hardly believe it! Thank you so much to everyone who has followed, read or just glanced at my blog! I have had some feedback and I’m so glad I’m helping people out, as that has always been my goal. 

I’m still working on a lot of post ideas etc, and also working on work as well! Lots of exams, lessons, planning and everything. One thing I don’t get is time to look after me and if I do get time it’s usually spent cooling down from a days socialising or stressing about work etc. Something that suffers when I’m constantly on the go is my health, especially my weight. I overeat when I finally get the chance to sit and whether it’s what I’m used to, stimming, an addiction, I don’t know, but it’s definitely a problem. 

I have always been big and I have no doubt it’s just part of who I am but I’m definitely not helping the issue with my behaviour. I know I’m never going to be a size 8 but I need to lose weight to feel healthier mentally and physically. So, for the next few weeks I’m trying a behavioural therapy diet app. From what I can gather from other autistic people, diet is a massive issue. Food textures/smells/tastes can set off sensory issues or be used as a comfort after difficult times. Changing this can be very difficult but ultimately lies with each individual person and I am yet to find a long term weight loss method that works for me. I’ll will explore further and see what happens!
